Poetry Pathways

On a balmy August evening, warm and dry after all the July rain, birds sang, traffic passed by, while a little bit of history was made. We enjoyed a live recital of new poems written by local poets about our very own village. Earls dignified and aloof in their tombs, gargoyles scowling and frowning, cats creeping by, a gardener hosing cold water on the ground, the backdrop to a memorable event.
