Exhibitions

Local History Exhibitions were held over May Day weekend in 2007 and the August Bank Holiday weekend in 2008, by the Bottesford Community Heritage Project, in the Fuller Room, Bottesford. This is the village meeting room, belonging to the parish council but originally the infants classroom of the village school. The room was also used to launch the project's book "Not Forgetting ... " in 2009.

Geneological exhibitions continue (as of 2012) to be held annually over a full week in autumn. These are created by Sheila Marriott, whose genealogical research into the families of Barkestone and the surrounding area is quite amazing.
