View of the Rutland Coffee House, Bottesford.
This picture shows the coffee house built by Canon Frederick Norman and Lady Adeliza Norman in the 1880s to encourage temperance in the village. It is now a provate house, and the building to its left became a butcher’s shop and in recent years a restaurant, now ‘Paul’s’.

Hi,
I thought I read that Mr Bugg the butcher had his shop in Market Street. I don’t remember Market St. but Mr Bugg the butcher had his shop next door to the Coffee House (youth Club in my day) or one along.
