Three generations of brick makers sharing tea break, along with a fourth man in the uniform of a railway employee
From the collection of Mrs Jean Round
Two brickmakers, the apprentice and the railway porter are together, enjoying a cup of tea, a bite to eat, and a well-earned rest. Are they brothers? Behind them are piles of field-drainage pipes and the tiled-roof of the drying shed.
