Muston from the air
This aerial photograph (source uncertain) shows the northern half of Muston and the A52 main road in the days before the road was straightened (pre.1989). The view was taken looking approximately eastwards. It shows the bends in the A52 which had a poor reputatioin for causing accidents on what was and still is a congested route taking traffic from the East Midlands into Kesteven and places beyond. On the left hand side is the Muston Gap public house on the A52, and on the right the spire the parish church St John the Baptist is clear.
