The Bottesford and Bingham Band on the old rectory lawn at Bingham Rectory, about 1950
The band members are seated on the Rectory lawn, led by their conductor. Philip Sutton provided the following notes:-
From left: the 2nd person is Evans from Bottesford, the 3rd is Cook from Radcliffe, the 4th (wearing a cap) is Bob Sutton from Bottesford, then T Gregg also from Bottesford playing the bass (tuba), then in the centre M Carter, S Gunn and Bob Brown; at the back right is C Carter fro Bottesford, then the others on the right are, clockwise, D Wilson, P Shelton, J Morley, O Hobley, L Horley, W Lindsey and Lou Abbott from Bottesford. The conductor was Tod Little from Bingham.
