Farming has always been the backbone of the community in and around Bottesford. These pictures of present day farming people were taken in the summer of 2008.

It would be great to have stories about these farmers and the history of their farms. Have any of the farms been in the same families for generations and how have they changed over time? They look a fine bunch!
Yes. Any information on the photos or farmlands would be great.
Pete Chandler doesnt look any different at all!! I remember, with great fondness working at his farm, turkey plucking in the run up to Christmas 1976,7, when I really should have been at school in Melton!!! There was a gang of us from the village used to earn ourselves a nice bit o’chrismas money and a turkey at the end of it. Great days. Nice to see the farm still working Pete!
