  • Middle row in centre is my father Herbert Jackson who lived at “The Nook”. He once told me that when sat in the choir stall he would look at the small picture of a boy in the coloured glass window. Visited from Aussie a few years ago, sat in the stall and low and behold there was the boy looking at me from the window. Dad enlisted with the Royal Artillery 1936 went through the war and settled in Portsmouth, Hampshire
