This picture was taken outside the Gap. The building in the background was an old barn or stable and stood in what was the old car park for the pub. It’s still there now but surrounded by a wall and beer garden.
I spent a bit of time there sitting in the back of the family car with my sister with a bottle of pop and bag of crisps when my dad called in for one on the way home from Grantham sometimes. This is spot where the geese operated from and they possibly lived in that building. Behind the photographer would be the A52.
