Medieval stained glass displayed in the SW window of the chancel clerestory. These are all that remains of what was once a large series located in the clerestory of the nave of St Mary’s and described by Nichols (1795). The king is said to be St. Edward the Confessor.

Detail of one of the carved panels of the octagonal Tudor font in St Mary’s. The age of the font was assessed to be 1559-1563 by Mr Harry Gill, writing in 1920, though a later, 17th Century, date has been proposed by Robert Trubshaw .

Henry de Codyngtoun, Rector of Bottesford (1361-1381). The brass, in the floor of the chancel by the tomb of the 2nd Earl, is noted for the rich embroidery on the cope depicting saints including Peter, Paul, John the Evangelist, Margaret, Catherine, Thomas of Canterbury and James of Compostela.

Thomas White, Rector (1679-1685), Bishop of Peterborough (1685), campaigned against the Declaration of Indulgence but was acquitted by James II in 1688, then was one of the non-juring bishops deprived of his see in 1690 by William and Mary. His memorial plaque is mounted on the east wall of the north transept, rather hidden behind the organ.
