Village pictures contributed by Mr Philip (Chip) Sutton These pictures range from the village band and village events beforeWW1 to pictures from Bottesford village school (often referred to as the ‘Old School’, it now houses the parish rooms and Botesford Library) and the new (post-1960) Belvoir High School. Philip Sutton, known as ‘Chip’, worked at the High School as gardener and caretaker for many years until he retired in 2000. He lived in the bungalow at 13, High Street, where his gardens were always admired.
