Bedroom fire place
Each of the chimney stacks in the gables of the house contained two flues, one from the downstairs fire places and their ranges, the others from small fireplaces used to heat the bedrooms. This picture was taken in the bedroom above the dining room. Photos show that the chimney pots were no longer in place on the overlying chimney stack; perhaps the flues had been blocked off.
