The Lock House viewed across the field from the lane at Stenwith
The Lock House glimpsed across the field gate by the lane by Stenwith Mill farm.
Margaret Langton
A view of the Lock House surrounded by the trees that had grown up to enclose most of the ground around the house, seen from the field gate in the lane by Stenwith Mill farm. The track newly made by the machinery being used to clear the site mark the line adopted later by the roadway built by the Grantham Canal Society for their restoration work on the canal locks. The canal itself cannot be seen, but lies behind the Lock House and the trees.
