The trolley: used to ferry goods from the road at Stenwith Mill, across the field to the cottage.
Neil Fortey
This simple trolley built by the brothers was used to ferry goods and materials to the cottage. There was no vehicle access from the road across the rough field to the cottage, and no canal traffic, so this provided a practical means of getting supplies in, rather than carrying them.
